Begin with one question: what will these beads become? A bracelet, bag charm and keychain have different lengths, connections and practical needs. Decide on the finished piece first, then narrow down the beads.
Compare materials and finishes
The Popen collection includes acrylic and plastic beads, glass beads, and resin and decorative beads. Record transparency, color, surface finish and shape separately. Similar colors can look different when their materials or finishes change. Shortlist a few SKUs and ask our team which samples are available.
Check the hole as well as the bead size
A nominal bead diameter does not tell you whether your chosen cord will fit. Confirm the threading hole, cord thickness, threading direction and connecting components. For shaped beads, check length, width and depth. Test the combination with your own cord before finalizing the design.
Build a clear color palette
Choose a main color and one or two supporting colors. Alternatively, start with a favorite charm and select beads that work with it. Photograph your trial arrangement and record every SKU and the quantity used in each finished piece.
Prepare your sourcing checklist
- Product SKUs, names and preferred color combinations
- Bead dimensions, hole size and connection method
- Estimated purchase quantity for each SKU
- Single-color or mixed-color packing, including the packing unit
- Destination, sample needs and preferred delivery date
Confirm samples before your bulk plan
Discuss samples, color combinations, packing quantities and availability with our team. Minimum quantities, pricing and lead times need to be quoted for each selection. For market-specific documents, provide the exact model and intended use so the scope can be checked.
